Average Customer Ratings

  • Perfect for what I need

    Work as they should

  • It works as intended

Nothing fancy, but low price, and it can push a fairly decent load, so I'd recommend it

  • Perfect

    Very good qaulity

  • Excellent

    Works as described

  • Good quality

Tiny enough for small project with small tight spaces

  • Work as described

    It works great

  • Great servos

I purchased 4 for a new project and they work like a charm. Small but powerful and fast. Great value servos. You can see them working here: https://www.robotshop.com/letsmakerobots/britishtiny-tin-robot

I originally purchased these from Amazon, being a novice to the tech scene. When I received that order, they were not what I needed. I was directed to RobotShop.com by a more experienced tech person and was more than thankful. The RobotShop.com site helped me get exactly what I needed, and the shipment came very quickly. I will be using them again for future purchases.

  • Great stuff

I dont have a lot op experience yet with servos but these ones plugged in and worked like a charm.
    Does make some noise.

  • Exactly what I need for my projects

This Continuous Rotation servo is so handy and strong ,too. No bother with reduction gears. It has the right rpm for my small robot vehicles and cranes.

    Also the price is right.

  • New version is not as good.

I bought a bunch of these servos about one year ago and they were great. Speed control needed some minor calibration, but that was expected. Hardware calibration was done with a flathead trimpot flush with the rear of the casing.

However, I recently ordered these same servos. Now, the trimpot has been moved far inside the servo housing, and is a phillips head. A small philips had to be inserted through a small hole in the casing to access the trimpot, which was mounted at an awkward angle within the motor. It was much more difficult to calibrate, and thus use, these servos.

Otherwise, the servos have good speed and torque, capable of driving a small robot. Wires are slightly weak and prone to breakage if appropriate strain-relief measures are not taken.

  • When 90 degrees isn't enough...

I've modified a lot of servos for continuous rotation over the years... they make great motors for little robots. However, the process is time consuming and when you make a mistake, it's like blowing your nose in a five-dollar bill. Being able to buy them as continuous rotation servos is awesome - having a trim is even more awesome-er. Keep in mind that this servo is constructed with nylon gears, an abrupt stall may destroy the servo.

  • Good Product

Great little servo for the price but 9 days for delivery!

  • Nice Servos

Used these for a robotics and Arduino class with 5th through 8th graders. Didn't really have the time or financial leeway to go the motor controller route. All went well. I'm glad these exist, I'm glad I got em' and I will do it again.

  • Wish we'd known about this several months ago!

We ordered some servos that we intended to hack for continuous rotation, and when the time came, they were not hackable :-( Seems like that happens a lot. You don't want that to happen at the last minute. These worked great. Thanks!

  • Nice but unstable

Tiny and speedy, but impossible to get a steady stop position set, it drifts all over the place. I am going to have to add a relay to shut off power to the servo when I want a full stop out of it.

  • Great small servos at a good price

I purchased these servos to build an inexpensive robot. They work well. I used wooden wheels from a craft store and used double sided carpet tape to connect the wheels to the servo wheel.
